Interlibrary loan is a service whereby users from one library may borrow material from another library via fax, surface mail or courier, for the purposes of research or private study, and not for commercial use.  Geographic restriction may be specified in the license.

The license may supply a single copy of an individual document within the licensed materials via secure electronic transmission, fax, surface mail or courier, to a user of another library for the purposes of research or private study, and not for commercial use.  Geographic restriction may be specified in the license.

The license may supply a single copy of an individual document within the licensed materials via the Ariel interlibrary loan software, fax, surface mail or courier, to a user of another library for the purposes of research or private study, and not for commercial use.  Geographic restriction may be specified in the license.

Access

Individual  members of the public who are physically present in the licensee’s library may access and use the licensed materials, generally allowed by the license.  Use of the material is restricted to non-commercial use.

 

Alumni Access No More Information Less Information

Alumni of the Saint Mary's University are considered authorized users of this resource and may access and use the licensed materials.

Notes
May make copies of single documents from the Licensed Materials for the purpose of inter-library loan, with the same limitations that apply to copies for that purpose made from traditional print editions. May, using secure means, fill inter-library loan requests for limited portions of the Licensed Material using software such as Ariel, Odyssey, ILLiad, and/or some other secure transmission system.
